My artwork is inspired from what we see around us every day. I call it 'urban camouflage'. I enjoy the juxtaposition of images from many sources, from early 80's subway graffiti to art deco. Warhol to magazine headlines. Sometimes just hearing something on the train can inspire a painting. I paint what I love, and hope to inspire that in others. I'm constantly exploring new mediums, new styles, and mixing these with things I have already done. Life is about going forward, but I also believe in taking what one has learned in the past and using that as a way of going to the future.

"The only reason to paint is that there is no reason to paint"-Keith Haring
